Framed nails

Hello,
how are you? I'm not so fine today, I have a terrible cold, that has been messing with my plans for this week. Hope I'll be okay soon. :)
I wanted to do something with dots, since I haven't done it in a while. And of course I had to try my new nail polish :)
I used: * Base: Essie - Play Date
           * Dots: Depend -031, Catrice - Heavy Metallilac

Pink Hearts

I am wearing something that I showed you before on my blog, but those two Opi nail polishes are just too cute to be only shown once :)
I used: * Opi - If you Moust you Moust (2coats)
           * Depend - 031 (1 coat)
           * Opi - Nothin' Mousie 'Bout it (1 coat)

Essence - Elves Like Lilac

I finally got the nail polish that I wanted from Essence Fantasia LE. It's called Elves Like Lilac. It's a beautiful purple color with small shimmer. The application was easy, I used 2 coats. The only problem was, that I couldn't capture the right color. It's darker than it looks on pictures.
I also added Depend - 280 on my tips. This one looks so beautiful in the bottle, but on my nails it doesn't look so well. I'll try it with some other nail polish to see if it will look better then :)

Depend - 6004

I'm so busy these days, I hardly find time for my computer and for blog :)
Here's a quick update of what I'm currently wearing:

 It's Depend - 6004 from Magnetic collection. I bought this one a while ago, but never tried it. I will wear it without magnetic effect too, because the color itself is just wonderful. Here I used 2 coats, but you could easily go with only one. As you can see, the magnet was also okay.

Snowflake manicure

Hello,
yesterday was snowing all day and I just had to do a manicure resembling that :)

I used: * Base color: Depend - 031
            * Stamping color: Essence - Gleam in Blue
            * Stamping plate: Konad m59
            * Glitters: Essence - Prince Charming (Snow White LE)

I can feel the Christmas spirit already, everything is white, the Christmas lights are all around the city... It's just beautiful :)

Haul + Swatch (Max Factor - Intense Plum)

I bought a few things today and I decided to share it with you :)

 

I had an eye on Max factor set for a while now and I finally bought it. The set costs only 9,59€ and contains: * 3 mini glosfinity nail polishes (Intense Plum, Hot Pink, Cloudy Blue)

                                * 2000 Calorie mascara

                                * Mini kohl pencil (020 black)

                                * Creme Puff (05 translucent)

                                * 1 sample of Max factor face finity all day flawless foundation (50 natural)

 

I think this set is awesome. It has amazing stuff in it. I already tried one nail polish and mascara and so far I like it. I don't like the smell of compact powder, but I can't say anything else, because I haven't tried it yet.

 

Other things: * Essence - Jacob's Protection (Breaking dawn part 2 LE)

                      * Essence - Alice Had a Vision - Again (Breaking dawn part 2 LE)

                      * Essence - A Piece of Forever pigment (Breaking dawn part 2 LE)

Like I said, I already tried one nail polish from Max Factor set and here it is:

 I think it's a beautiful colour, I used 2 coats, the application was easy. The only thing that I didn't like is the handle or the stick of the brush (don't know how to explain it). It's so small that it was very hard to paint my nails normally. Here is a picture of three small nail polishes so that you can see the comparison:

Depend - Blue Heaven 2043 (Mirror Collection)

Depend released a new collection called Mirror. The collection includes 12 shades. Let's see what Depend has to say about them:

"Up to the minute and elegant at the same time! The new Mirror collection from Depend is a dream come true if you want to create the perfect metallic look. The polish contains a new type of pigment that gives the most fantastic metallic results."

First I would like to talk about the nail polish that I got. I decided to only get one, because I wanted to test one first and if I like it I'll buy some more.
They all looked beautiful in the bottles, but I went with the blue one, called Blue Heaven in number 2043. My expectations were not very high, I knew there won't be a total mirror effect, but I was hoping to get a decent metallic effect.
And I love it! The coverage is great, you only need one coat, but I used 2 coats. Everything went smooth, there were no problems with application. I can't tell you how long it lasted on my nails, because I painted it yesterday, but if you would like to know I'll tell you :)

I love the metallic effect that it gives, I am actually not a big fan of metallic shades, but this one is amazing.
To sum up, I loved everything about it, the only downside is the price. This small 5ml bottle costs 3,45€.

Funky french mani

there has been major floods all over Slovenia, especially in our area. A lot of roads are gone and all you can do is sit at home and wait 'till everything is over. Even though the water can't reach our house, I am so nervous, hope that nobody will get hurt and that the rain and that the rivers will stop overflowing.

I love this combination, I think it's girly and it reminds me of summer :)

Most worn nail polishes in summer

I decided to show you nail polishes that I wore a lot this summer :)
I loved bright colors this summer. I can't remember wearing any blacks or other dark colors. I like wearing darker nail polishes during autumn and winter.
There was another nail polish that I loved this summer, I don't think I ever wore one nail polish so many times, but I can't believe that I never took a picture of it, but I promise that I will show it to you in the future. :)

Depend - Ocean Blue + Essence - Pop Pastel Blue

It's so sunny outside these days, so I had to put a holografic polish on my nails again.
I used Depend - Ocean Blue (Holografic) and Essence - Pop Pastel Blue (Show your feet) and then I drew some strikes on my thumb and ring finger.

Depend - Lavender (no. 2031)

Hello.
Depend finally released a holografic nail polishes and they are available in Slovenia! How exciting is this :) I went to DM drugstore and got 2 of them. Today I will be showing you number 2031 and it's called Lavender. I have to say that I am really impressed, because I have one Nfu Oh holografic polish and the Nfu Oh one is so hard to apply. I always have to put 3 or 4 coats, but it still leaves strikes and it lasts on me for only 1 day before it starts chipping. But Depend one is so much better. No strikes and it lasted 3 days (which is quite a long time for me).

I also got number 2029 which I will show you next time (and maybe some others because I'm sure that as soon as I get to DM again I will buy more of them :))
