Catrice - George Blueney

Hello!
I'm back. I was in Terme 3000 for the past few days, enjoying the last days before the college starts.

And of course I went to Müller in Murska Sobota, where I bought a few things:

Deborah Milano - Burlesque Red, Essence - Do you Speak Love?, Catrice - George Blueney, Catrice -Casablanca Hightlight's (eyebrow lifter).

Today I would like to show you this blue beauty from Catrice. It's from their new sortiment and it's called George Blueney. It's a beautiful metallic dark blue color with light blue shimmer in it.
Too bad there's no sun today, because I would love to see this blue shimmer sparkling in the sun :)

My pinky wants to go another way :D

2 coats, without top coat.

Catrice once again provided beautiful new colors and I can't wait to try some of them :)

Catrice - Doris` Darling

Hello.
A few days ago I ran into a full rack of Catrice limited edition called Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties.
Nothing fascinated me much, exept for one nail polish - Doris` Darling.

I think it is( yes - is, since today is the first autumn day) perfect for autumn. It's a very dark purple, vampy color, covered in 2 coats.
I think I need more shades that are similar to this one, because I don't have many :)

Have you bought any autumn shades and which one is your favourite?

Most worn nail polishes in summer

I decided to show you nail polishes that I wore a lot this summer :)
I loved bright colors this summer. I can't remember wearing any blacks or other dark colors. I like wearing darker nail polishes during autumn and winter.
There was another nail polish that I loved this summer, I don't think I ever wore one nail polish so many times, but I can't believe that I never took a picture of it, but I promise that I will show it to you in the future. :)

Here they are:
Depend - 220

Essie - Lights

Deborah Milano - Blooming Delight

Essie - Mint Candy Apple

So these are my top 4 :)
Do you have any favourite nail polishes of the summer?
Do you wear brights in spring/summer and darks in autumn/winter?

Have a lovely week :)

Sparkly manicure :)

Hello :)

I finally used Broadway Starlet from Essence pigments. :)

First, I applied 2 coats of Bourjois - 14 nail polish.
Then I added one coat of Essence - Feels so Good (Re-mix your style LE) and applied Broadway Starlet with a fan brush while it was still wet.

Here is the result:

What do you think? Is it a bit too shiny and sparkly, or do you like wearing these kind of manicures?

Have a great sunday :)

Catrice - Lucky in Lilac + Konad

Hello,
I was really busy these past few days and didn't have time for blog.
So here are the pictures of the manicure that I was wearing few days ago:

I used Catrice - Lucky in Lilac (2 coats) and Konad m73 plate with Catrice - Forget-Me-Not.

It's so cold today, I can't believe that summer is gone, everyone is so happy that the autumn is coming, but not me. Am I the only one? I am a very cold person and I love the heat and the sun.

Well, have fun on this rainy day! :)

Essence - I'm Bluetiful

Hello,
I have another new Essence Colour & Go nail polish to show you. They truly did amazing job with those new nail polishes in my opinion, they are great! The colors are beautiful, I love the application of those that I have, they stay on my nails for quite some time and they are almost all one coater (I usually put 2 coats, but it happens sometimes that I don't have time and those that are one coaters become really handy) :)

no direct sunlight

I think this one really has the right name, it truly is Bluetiful :D
What do you think, do you like it?

Color Blocking Manicure

Hello,
Today I would like to show you my first attempt of Color Blocking.
I hesitated about posting this one, because it didn't turned out as I thought :)
I didn't take time to make the lines more flat, because I was in a rush.

I used those 3 nail polishes:

Essence - Boys are Back in Town, Ballerina's Charm and Frosted Champaign.

And that's the result:

Essence - Free Hugs

Today I would like to show you a new nail polish from Essence. It's called Free Hugs. It's a baby pink color.
After I painted my nails and decided to sponge my tips with pink glitters from Essence - Cotton Candy  (Circus Circus LE).

I have to say that I really love new bottles. They are so cute :) I'm still not sure about the brush, I think I like the old one better.
How about you, what do you think about new bottles and brush?

Haul + Swatches (Essence pigments)

I went to Beauty world yesterday and bought a few things from Essence new sortiment.

From left to right:
Essence - Colour arts nail base (1,69€),
Essence - I'm Bluetiful, Free hugs, Ballerina's charm, Oh my glitter! (1,69€),
Essence - Kiss Care Love lipbalm (1,39€),
Essence - Colour arts mixing jars (1,39€),
Essence - Colour arts eye base (1,99€),
Essence pigments - Fairy dust, Cotton candy, Broadway starlet (2,69€)

Today I would like to show you swatches that I made with Essence pigments.

I swatched them on my hand without and with Colour arts eye base.

10 - fairy dust is a pearly white pigment with small glitter.
This one is my favourite.
Left - without base
Right - with base

11 - cotton candy is a pearly light pink pigment.
Left - without base
Right - with base

04 - broadway starlet is a multicolored glitter, but I don't think that I will be using it on my eyes, because I don't like sparkly things on my face.

Then I swatched them on my nails with Colour arts nail base:

On index and middle finger - 11 - cotton candy (2coats)
On ring and pinky finger - 10 - fairy dust (2 coats)

I was quite dissapointed with those two pigments. As you can see they didn't cover my nails even.
There's just too much mess with them I don't think that I will be using them for my nails.

But.. I love 04 - broadway starlet (2 coats)! It looks awsome :D it's such a shame that there's no sun today (that's why I didn't bother putting it on all my nails, I want to save that for sunny days :D)

To sum up I'm quite satisfied with them. Fairy dust and Cotton candy will probably only be used on my eyes, can't wait to try them, so that I can see if they will last long on my eyelids. And Broadway starlet will probably only be used on my nails, but that's okay, because I don't have that kind of a nail polish in my collection.

* I didn't get lip base, because I'm not wearing lipsticks that often.

Did you get any pigments? How did you like them?
Are you using them on your nails, eyes or both?
