Blue with Bling Bling

Hello,
how are you doing on this Sunday? :)
Yesterday I bought the new decoration kit from Essence and had to try it out.
For a base I used Essence - Pop Pastel Blue (2 coats). It's such a beautiful shade, I think I should wear it often.

Alessandro Crystal Punk

Today I have for you the Alessandro set that I also bought the other day. This set was on my wishlist ever since I saw swatches. But it was a bit expensive. So I was even more happier when I found it in drugstore for 5€ only. :) It's called Blue Rocks the Club and it contains one black nail polish (which is a one coater) and one with blue flakies.

Fan brush nail art

How are you all doing today? :)
At first, I painted my nails with one of my favorite nail polishes and then I saw this technique somewhere and decided to try it myself. It very simple. All you need is a base nail polish, a fan brush and another nail polish. I only used one, but you can use as many as you want.

I used:
* Essence - Forget-me-Not (Blossoms etc.. LE) (2coats)
* Essence - Bloom-a-Loom (Blossoms etc.. LE)
* fan brush

Have you tried this technique? Do you like it? :)

Today I am showing you a beautiful creme nail polish. Definitely my favorite blue at the moment. The application was great, I only used 1 coat. It's such an awesome shade. Not too dark, not too light. It's something in between and just gorgeous! :)

Depend - 6004

I'm so busy these days, I hardly find time for my computer and for blog :)
Here's a quick update of what I'm currently wearing:

 It's Depend - 6004 from Magnetic collection. I bought this one a while ago, but never tried it. I will wear it without magnetic effect too, because the color itself is just wonderful. Here I used 2 coats, but you could easily go with only one. As you can see, the magnet was also okay.

Max Factor - Cloudy Blue + Essence - Blue Addicted

Today I have another nail polish from Max Factor, that I got in the gift bag, to show you. It's a beautiful dark blue color with very small, almost invisible shimmer. I still don't like the brush, but everything else went perfect. I applied 2 coats. The shade is called Cloudy Blue. After that I added one of my favourite glitter nail polish on my thumb and ring finger, called Blue Addicted from Essence.

Hello!

I have another manicure with striping tape, but this time I used it differently. I really like the striping tape, you can make so many different things with it, so many different patterns... I remember how it was like, before I bought those, I was always struggling with regular scotch tape and it never turned out great.
This time I used Essence - Gleam in Blue and on top of that I used Essence - Wonderlicious Green (Colour and Change)
There's nothing special about this manicure, but I like it exactly because of that. I think it's very simple and that's something that I want on my nails these days :)

Depend - Blue Heaven 2043 (Mirror Collection)

Depend released a new collection called Mirror. The collection includes 12 shades. Let's see what Depend has to say about them:

"Up to the minute and elegant at the same time! The new Mirror collection from Depend is a dream come true if you want to create the perfect metallic look. The polish contains a new type of pigment that gives the most fantastic metallic results."

First I would like to talk about the nail polish that I got. I decided to only get one, because I wanted to test one first and if I like it I'll buy some more.
They all looked beautiful in the bottles, but I went with the blue one, called Blue Heaven in number 2043. My expectations were not very high, I knew there won't be a total mirror effect, but I was hoping to get a decent metallic effect.
And I love it! The coverage is great, you only need one coat, but I used 2 coats. Everything went smooth, there were no problems with application. I can't tell you how long it lasted on my nails, because I painted it yesterday, but if you would like to know I'll tell you :)

I love the metallic effect that it gives, I am actually not a big fan of metallic shades, but this one is amazing.
To sum up, I loved everything about it, the only downside is the price. This small 5ml bottle costs 3,45€.

Essence - I love bad boys

Hello,
I want to show you another nail polish from new Essence Color and Go line. It's called I love bad boys and it's something between light blue and green with lots of light blue shimmer. I used 2 coats, everything went smooth and I think that I'm getting used to the new brush! :)

Like I said before, I love the colors the came up with, they really did an amazing job, so be prepared to see more from this line in the future, because I still have some of them to show you. :)

Deborah Milano - Celestial Sky

Hello,
I have another beautiful shade to show you. It's blue and it has a subtle silver shimmer in it.
The formula was a little watery, I used 2 coats, but I think that it would look even better with 3 coats. The application was easy and I love the brush (I prefer small brushes, because I don't have big nails).
The nail polish is from Deborah Milano (Prêt à porter) called Celestial Sky.

I am starting to love this mini nail polishes, they have a lot of great shades. Do you own any? What do you think of them?

 

Forgive me my cuticles, they are in a very bad condition lately, I guess the oil that I use is not working for me anymore. What do you use to maintain your cuticles?

I used Depend - 221 and Opi - Pedal Faster Suzi. (both 2 coats)
I love this combination, I think it's girly and it reminds me of summer :)

Catrice - George Blueney

I'm back. I was in Terme 3000 for the past few days, enjoying the last days before the college starts.
And of course I went to Müller in Murska Sobota, where I bought a few things:

Deborah Milano - Burlesque Red, Essence - Do you Speak Love?, Catrice - George Blueney, Catrice -Casablanca Hightlight's (eyebrow lifter).

 

 

Today I would like to show you this blue beauty from Catrice. It's from their new sortiment and it's called George Blueney. It's a beautiful metallic dark blue color with light blue shimmer in it.

Too bad there's no sun today, because I would love to see this blue shimmer sparkling in the sun :)

 

My pinky wants to go another way :D

Most worn nail polishes in summer

I decided to show you nail polishes that I wore a lot this summer :)
I loved bright colors this summer. I can't remember wearing any blacks or other dark colors. I like wearing darker nail polishes during autumn and winter.
There was another nail polish that I loved this summer, I don't think I ever wore one nail polish so many times, but I can't believe that I never took a picture of it, but I promise that I will show it to you in the future. :)

Essence - I'm Bluetiful

I have another new Essence Colour & Go nail polish to show you. They truly did amazing job with those new nail polishes in my opinion, they are great! The colors are beautiful, I love the application of those that I have, they stay on my nails for quite some time and they are almost all one coater (I usually put 2 coats, but it happens sometimes that I don't have time and those that are one coaters become really handy) :)

China Glaze - Aquadelic

I decided to paint my nails with Aquadelic, because I haven't used it in a while now. Then I made some dots with Essie - Mint Candy Apple.

I don't know what's wrong with my nails lately. They started to chip like crazy and they just don't grow at all. I think it's probably because I am stressed out. I used to have great nails for quite some time and I realized that I have strong nails only when I'm relaxed and when there's nothing wrong with me :)

Does anyone have that kind of problems or is it just me? :D

It's so sunny outside these days, so I had to put a holografic polish on my nails again.
I used Depend - Ocean Blue (Holografic) and Essence - Pop Pastel Blue (Show your feet) and then I drew some strikes on my thumb and ring finger.

Essence - Sleepy + Essence - Glorious Aquarius

When I first head that Essence will have a limited edition called Snow white I was very excited. I loved Snow white when I was a kid and I still do :)
I bought some of the polishes, that were waiting for me on the shell.
Today I would like to show you my favourite. It's Sleepy. (2 coats)

I also added Essence - Glorious Aquarius on my thumb and ring finger.

P.S. I will be getting a new camera soon, because with this one the pictures are just.. well, not good :)
